We bought this for a second year
December 4, 2014
When Frozen came out, my daughter fell in love with this dress in sky blue. She said it looked like an ice princess (my favorite is the white with burgundy trim but I couldn't talk her into it...thank you Elsa). She *adores* this dress. So much so, when a 10 started getting too tight, she insisted we get it again in the next size up (she wore the 10 3 times and now it will be a lovely X-mas present for a friends daughter). We've been invited on board a fairly prestigious ship next year (my DH is lecturing on board) and formal night clothes are a must. I kept trying to tell her we'd be on the East Coast heading into Canada in late September...it's going to be COLD. She still wants to wear this dress...with the addition of a faux fur white wedding cape so she doesn't freeze to an icicle. But, it absolutely, positively HAS to be THIS dress! She insists. Admittedly, she does look absolutely lovely in it.
We're not the kind of people who could even *consider* a trip like that,. The fact that we're going is a testimony to my DH's skill as a lecturer,...not our bank book. So, the cost of this particular dress was within our reach (I bought both sizes on sale).
I don't know what we'll do when she's too old to fit into the largest size they have!
Pros:Not overly done embellishments...very elegant
Fits right in with "Frozen" for any girl wanting to look like an ice princess (the sky blue)
The company itself is very professional...purchases arrive on time
Cons:Fits smaller than its size (i.e., if your child wears an 8, you might want to consider a 10)
Customer service didn't return phone calls for weeks. I later found out this was because it was communion season. They seem a little short staffed, maybe?
