better to look for dresses in girls rather than on a model

The dress arrived intact. The fabric felt good, and overall the quality was good. I ordered the yellow sash. The dress came with 2 yellow flowers, rather than white flowers. They looked more "fake" than in the pictures. The fabric for the sash was way too long. For my thin 3-year old, we ordered a size 2 dress and it was big. We (our nanny who sews) took up the shoulders and in the bodice a little. We shortened the sash by several inches. At the wedding, a cousin who also sews tied the bow. Unfortunately, it came untied after the ceremony, and by then it was impossible to chase down my daughter to tie it again. The reason I say to look for a dress on a girl rather than on a model is because on the model, the dress looks snug and fitted. On a little girl it looks baggy in a cute way. It now makes more sense to me to view the dress on a girl, so you have a better idea of what to expect. In the end, everyone thought my daughter looked adorable. She loved the dress. The day was wonderful. We are overall happy with the purchase and it was a good value for the money.
